THE AMERICAN RELICS Raise the Roof @ Chelsea Table & Stage in NYC 11/15/24
The celebrated nostalgic band THE AMERICAN RELICS had their audience swinging from the rafters at Chelsea Table & Stage, the trendy night spot in New York City. This was the third time they performed at the avant-garde space back by popular demand. According to the crowd of loyal fans and followers they never sounded better.
The band was recently featured at International Peace Day in Times Square during a 5 hour concert called “Pause The World For Peace.” The faction skyrocketed on YouTube with their hit songs “The Eyes of 1969” and “My Impala” earlier this year and was nominated for the prestigious Josie Music Award which took place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville in October. The band can also be heard on KISS FM radio and is currently signed to Tribeca Records.
While lead vocalist, guitarist and founder of THE AMERICAN RELICS John Gitano writes most of the songs, each band member is an acclaimed and accomplished musician in their own right. Members include Adrienne Dugger, a classical singer turned rock n’roll superstar, Nelson Montana, a multi- instrumentalist on bass, Patty Jarmen playing rhythm guitar, Neal Lazar also on lead guitar and the two newest members Bill Gulino, a long-time musical director and pianist on keys and John McCann who has been playing drums forever. The group is influenced by the music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, but they are able to Re-create the sounds of music today keeping their soundscape relevant.
THE AMERICAN RELICS performed their original hits as well as favorite covers. They always seem to bring the house down judging from the applause and the dancing in the isles. Their new release “Brooklyn” is set to release early next year via Tribeca Records and will go down in their own personal history as one of their best.
